- The Transportation Security Administration has failed to comply with a year-old U.S. Court of Appeals order to hold public hearings to decide on body scanner rules and regulations. More here.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation is seeking technology that can spot criminals and terrorists by recognizing the symbolism of their tattoos. More here.
- The Department of Homeland Security Industrial Control System Cyber Emergency Response Team issued a warning about vulnerabilities in widely used Niagara software to remotely control industrial systems and devices. More here.
- The Senate Armed Services Committee wants to stop the National Security Agency’s open-source secure version of Google’s BigTable database. More here.
