Cloud Computing Expo on Ulitzer
Vordel, a provider of Cloud and SOA Governance products, announced at VordelWorld, its annual user conference, that it has recently appointed Spike Reply (part of the Reply Group) as its key partner in the Italian marketplace. The two companies will work closely together to build out their complementary SOA Governance product and service offerings into key industry sectors including Government, Financial services and Telecoms.
Vordel’s products provide governance, acceleration, integration, and security for SOA and Cloud Computing. Spike Reply has established a SOA Center of Excellence division to assist its Customers exploit the opportunities presented by adopting a SOA-based approach to their business processes. Built on a bedrock of products from leading vendors, Spike Reply is delivering on its goal of enabling its customers build agile enterprises responsive to increasingly competitive and arduous trading conditions.

According to Paolo Malinverno, Gartner Analyst, "Through 2010, the lack of working SOA governance arrangements will be the most common reason for SOA failures. The biggest barriers to SOA adoption will be non-technical issues related to inadequate governance, lack of clear value metrics, poorly defined requirements and scope, and insufficient business involvement in project prioritization and service identification."1
